Method
step 1
Gently fry the onion until soft, not coloured
step 2
Mix together onions, sage and breadcrumbs and season well. (If unsure, you can test seasoning levels by frying and tasting a small patty of your stuffing once mixed. You can then adjust to taste)
step 3
Add enough of the beaten egg to bind the mixture together and use to stuff meat or poultry or to roll into individual stuffing balls
step 3
If making stuffing balls, cook in roasting tin for 30 minutes
